Where do I put my downloads?
You'll need to put them in /My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads. If you do not have a Downloads folder, you need to create one, make sure it has a capital "D"
If the files are .zip files or .rar files, you'll need to extract them using Winzip or any other application than can unzip files, then place them in -
/My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads folder. If you have all expansion packs then files can be put in subfolders, but if you have only the basegame and/or University, then all bodyshop made items must be loose in your downloads folder. Using subfolders was a feature of the Nighlife expansion pack
Do your downloads require any expansion packs? I will note the file/preview image with the expansion packs required.
Make sure you have the required mesh along with the recolour in your downloads folder. In most cases I will include the mesh in the zip.
If I am unable to do this because of restrictions by the mesh creator I will put a clear link to the mesh you require.
